Interesting ideas. I both agree & disagree with some. But you do have sincere care for the hobby / history ... that always comes through. I may be in the "older" cohort of chippers, but I'm interested in a successful future for the club and MOGH and hobby in general, too.
One thing I'd like to see, if possible, is coordination with other entities with overlapping interests, as being done with the Neon Museum.
Two excellent organizations are the UNLV Center for Gaming Research (run by David Schwartz, a friend of the CCA & MOGH already).
And also, the Nevada Historical Society's American Gaming Archives (at U.Nevada Reno). Set up by Howdy Herz, with funding from the gaming industry's AGA. That small museum, and additional research facilities, is a real jewel, IMO.
There's also a distinct place for the MOGH, but some real potential exists for synergies with those 2 organizations. (CCA / MOGH may have substantial connections going already?)
