It has been almost 6 weeks since my Grandson Gavin was injured in a snow boarding accident that left him with no feeling from his chest down. Gavin has been in a rehab hospital for the last 5 weeks and he and his therapists have been working very hard to help him recover some use of his legs. (see the video below) He will remain in the hospital for a couple of more weeks then he is scheduled to move to outpatient therapy setting. He will continue this therapy for several more months. It definitely will be a very long and demanding road to recovery.

With the help and generosity of my friend "Chipper Chuck" we have designed a very special Chip for Gavin. These chips will be given to family members and friends. I hope people will display the chips at work or in their home or carry the chip with them in their pocket to remind them to keep Gavin in their thoughts and prayers.

The "Go Fund Me" page that was set up for Gavin is still active and I want to thank everyone who has donated to help off set the enormous costs that will undoubtedly be incurred during Gavin battle to regain as much function of his legs that is possible. This will be a long and expensive battle.
