and so they should, it would just be nice if it was factually correct so that there is no confusion. Let's hope they are diligent enough to get the facts correct even when just speculating so that a correction is not needed when using the information later.
If not, on the other hand, surely it's better to point out any other errors even if not pertaining to the actual speculative post and if only to stop incorrect information from being digested and possibly spread?
Imagine if it had been missed and not been corrected and somebody then got it into their head that it was 1838 and not 1828 (which is when I thought it opened so I have no idea where wiki got November 1827 from), I'm sure it could cause problems somewhere along the line. As to the address, well, if anybody did actually care enough and bother to attempt to find pieces from that time I'd think the correct address would be essential in researching but maybe not.
So that site is the one that said that it has always been in Curzon Street? I'll give that a miss for UK stuff then although they probably specialise in Vegas and are obviously better versed in that.
Hopefully that explains why I commented on the initial post (and the next) as I have no desire to continue discussing this really.
