The chip’s original owner was William Kenney of NYC. Kenney was a lifelong friend of Al Smit. He lentertained him and the Tammany Hall crew in his famous Tiger Room.

The Tiger Room was 300 feet long and two stories high. Broadway companies would entertain for Kenney and his buds there. Dining would be at a 70 table. The table top was a single 70 foot piece of black onyx

I believe the Tiger Room was the top two floors of this building on Park Ave South in NYC
