That's so sad Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I'll never forget the 2010 Helldorado parade. Ralph was driving his truck, with Sheldon riding in the back. Jim Steffner and Tony Tricoli (spelled right?) were walking behind the truck, while Christine was darting about taking pictures. Sheldon, Jim and Tony were tossing out/handing out wooden nickels. My husband and I had walked back to the truck, to cheer on the chippers, and Sheldon invited us to climb into the back of the truck. We hopped in and waved to the crowd, and helped to give out the wooden nickels (not that they needed the help, but it was fun! ). We really enjoyed participating in the historic throwback to an old Las Vegas tradition. We couldn't have done that without Ralph.

Of course I took some pictures, and I was flattered that Ralph decided to have a personal chip made from this one

Rest in peace, Ralph, you had a long fight.
