Does anyone know anything about the rolls of half dollars and silver dollars that have been auctioned off the last few months with old casino wrappers on them (Sands, Flamingo, etc)? I could understand that someone could have found some rolls of casino wrapped coins but these have been from four or five different casinos. That just seems strange. To me it looks like it could be a scam where someone found empty wrappers and put one silver dollar at each end and fills the middle with Eisenhower dollars. Was a large hoard of these found? Any ideas?
