We were set to have a long happy day--kids were home from college when COVID-19 struck. The middle granddaughter had to go on quarantine when she was exposed to the virus and that resulted in her brother going too. So dinner was off and I sat alone watching football on tv and eating leftovers---but so thankful that it was just quarantine and loss of a family day--and not sickness and loss of a family member.
