There has been many cases where chips were leaked out over years...1 or 2 here and there. Sometimes it could be a chipper doing it...trying to get the most money for them, but sometimes the people selling the chips to us chippers are the ones leaking them out. We buy a chip or 2 thinking that we got a great find of chips...post them here or on another site and sell them at a good profit. And then when we see the original seller they say...oh found a few more...and the next month...geez I got a couple more...sometimes it’s our “pickers” leaking them to us.

I like your enthusiasm to question some the chips...there many folk tales out there. What I mean is...great chip finds...chip ID’s ...things that are so old in our hobby...it is legend...even if the info isn’t correct.
