I think Abe has a legitimate question.... maybe someone who manufactures chips or understands the science behind process.

How hot does the clay (or whatever material a chip is) have to me to be originally molded?
If the chips were stacked.would they be more melted together or would the inlays be a little more protected because they were stacked together.

Where the error chips in a cage when found? Or in some other secure location that protected from heat?
