Sounds like Edge became your default browser. Two ways to fix:
1. Press your start button (or press the "Window" key on your keyboard). Type "Default Apps" and click on the top selection. Change your default browser back to Google Chrome. If Chrome is already your default browser, find out what extension those icons are by doing the following: right click one of the icons and go to Properties. Look in the target field to see what extension the actual file is (the ones on your desktop are simply shortcuts to actual files or websites). Once you have that info, go back to the Default Apps screen and click "Choose default apps by file type" (down below). Find the extension (or extensions) and change as needed.
2. Alternatively, you can open Chrome, click the 3 vertical dot icon in the upper right corner, go to Settings, then Default Browser, and make Chrome your default that way. This SHOULD change all related file types to use Chrome by default.
Good luck!
