I almost feel cheated by this virus. A year or two ago I realized that we were getting older and I had lots of places I wanted to see before I got too old to enjoy the trips. So we started planning lots of trips all of which were cancelled this year. We managed a few days at Myrtle Beach a few months ago at a condo but all of the foreign trips were cancelled. Now with the creeping crud getting so bad again I am hesitant to make any more plans without knowing if there is any chance to go. I do have plans to go to the chip show during the Super Bowl but I have the feeling that will eventually be cancelled anyway. After the show we plan to go to AZ for a few days but I think Cindy is not going to want to go on an airplane until we get the vaccine. It sure would be nice if all five companies testing the vaccine would get approval right away cutting the time we wait for our turn to get it. Then the problem is going to be the fact that once people start travelling there is going to be huge demand for airplane seat and tour reservations, etc. I can already see that most tour companies have raised their rates significantly. Our planned two week tour of France now costs as much as what we had paid for including premium economy airplane tickets. And since no one is travelling those premium economy tickets now cost 50-75% more and are never on sale.
