Many holes in their plans. I don't see where they address the section from Rancho Cucamonga to Victorville, an expensive section going up the Cajon Pass. (And that assumes you take the Metrolink from LA Union Station to Rancho Cucamonga first, a 2 1/2 hour trip all by itself.)
I would bet the infamous Bullet Train would see passengers first, and I give it extremely low odds of ever operating its original route between LA and San Francisco, even with billions of taxpayer dollars already spent!
