~~~ and I was lucky to get through to speak to a real person. It so happens that even though I ordered the mail and ballot on the 22nd and received confirmation from them the same day, the ballot was actually mailed Monday, so they told me to give it a couple more days. They have the actual waiting time at each voting location, which is at least a one and a half hour wait... and there is no way I will do that with these current Covid conditions in Florida. I should have went down the other day when Trump was in town to vote and asked him if I can jump in the line...
