~~~ without asking if the chip first be removed in order to do a proper inspection. Not only would a slightly warped chip be undetected in a Mylar; an inlay that lost its protective film can easily be unnoticed as well.

I guess you can tell by now that I have no use for Mylar... Seen too many inlays scratched by staples when ripping the cardboard open to remove the chip...
