Though it does bring up something that John Z. mentioned regarding how chips should be listed in the ChipGuide in order to find them easily.
This is an actual casino plaque from France. It's in the guide, and it's listed in its proper location, except it would be virtually impossible for anyone here to locate it without going through a lengthy process of elimination which, maybe, can be "corrected" in order to find it easily if someone was searching for it.
As I said, there's nothing tricky here. Though, if anyone is interested in trying to locate it, all the information you need is right on the plaque, as PAU is a city.
This problem also occurs with chips from VICHY, where Luis Alvarez even said it would be impossible for him to find a chip he was once looking for from Vichy, when the chip actually read Vichy, without going through every casino that was listed in the city in the last hundred years.
In short; the city is PAU. There is a Casino PAU, and their chips read "PAU" just like this one, but this one and the other denominations are not included in the casino listing... and really shouldn't be, but the chip needs to be found and needs to be found swiftly
Maybe someone has a solution. I sure don't... and one would need to know a lot of French Casino history before they can find it easily... and I don't think anyone should have to know that much in order to just find a chip on the guide.
