Using the ChipGuide Submission takes no more skill than making a post on the ChipBoard. You do not have to do anything special to your image, although we appreciate if you do make it presentable for the ChipGuide to save the admins some time. We ask for some basic information about the submission, the same as you would say in your post ... "This is a $1 chip from the ABC casino in AnyTown, USA". And we ask you to confirm that the image you are posting is your image and that you are giving the ChipGuide permission to use it.
The important reason for using the ChipGuide Submission page is that you can be assured that your submission will be processed. All submissions go into a queue that the admins work off of. The queue is monitored by the Webmaster to make sure that every submission gets processed. We are backed up sometimes, right now we have 1,000's of submissions to process, mostly group submissions of large collections from some very generous collectors. We try to get to the individuals first before we work on the group submissions. Posts on the ChipBoard are not always picked up.
The Admins, ChipGuide Webmaster Albert Scalzo and I really appreciate your cooperation.
