If you care enough or think highly enough of the individual (s) to nominate them for the Club's highest honor, I would think you'd be interested in making sure the members of the HOF have all of the information necessary to make the decision as easy as possible and not "require" that they do the work you're unsure of or too lazy to do on your own. Contrary to belief, we don't know every member of the club nor do we know of every accomplishment. The information you provide might just be what it takes to get the attention of the voting body.

Just a thought....

Abstaining from voting is rampant with the Club as a whole or we'd have a lot more members who vote for officers, amendments, etc.. Perhaps it would be better to give the "abstaining from voting is a sin" lecture to the entire membership during the next Club election?
