At the time that Carlos made his statement on the ChipBoard it was made in response to someone's post, it was directed towards an individual and that individual was very put off by Carlos's remarks. I am in full agreement with what Carlos had to say, but not how it was said and how it was handled. This incident is what prompted the change in the ChipGuide Submission Policy. Now the admins have clear instructions on how to handle these situations. Carlos left the ChipGuide on his own, in fact we tried to talk him out of it, and he is always welcome back.
FYI. To set the facts straight ... Carlos handled ChipGuide submissions for Europe, Macao and Brazil. The Global ChipGuide began when we incorporated the Canadian ChipGuide, the ChipGuide of England and the Caribbean ChipGuide into the ChipGuide. This was prior to Carlos becoming an admin.
