"stagnant for a long time with no action or incentive to move forward" Oh come on, where is that coming from?
There have only been a few years where no one was inducted. When it first occurred the committee did revise the rules
to make it easier for a member to be inducted. Even then a year passed by with no new Hall of Fame members.
A lot has to do with the original recommendation from members at large. They forget to list the accomplishments of their recommended person and
and may only send in a name with no background. If you want a candidate to win you have to sell all of their qualifications.
Just a name doesn't do it.
The HoF committee goes thru several voting sessions to make sure the inductee list has the most qualified individuals. With about 20
HoF members voting each time there may be a winner, but not always. Sell us on your recommended member, make sure
we know everything he has accomplished for the club. Make sure with enough info and background to allow us to make the best choice
thru the voting processes.
The committee is always looking for the fairest and best way to induct a member. Recommendation time is coming soon, send in a form
for the person or persons yu feel should join the Hall of Fame. Without your help we can only do so much.
