I personally would collect this without a question.
I collect paper or coins like these, 2$50 or something seems weird for one person, culturally they are the way the are printed or made because of their own culture.
We should take it as is - respect and reverence to the state and the people of that particular country - your coin is a collectable in my area of "snapper" species. Got maybe more than 50 of such coins and 35-40 in the paper currency in my collection - I collected them way back before I collected the chips.
I love to collect these "artifacts" - try to study and read the history of the making of these coins.
Come to think of 1808 Liberty gold coin, there are 9 more issued to 1934 American Gold Eagle coin.
The chip that I collect are all meaningful to me, not just their, color - more to it beyond "per se" - the true life portrayal of the craftsman that created them, the talents and knowledge that they impart into
the piece of coin, paper currencies and think of the countries histories, social and cultural traits, these are unique to them which I value equally as the "specimen" in my collections.
