Cindy and I had two more trips planned and both need to be cancelled. When I went online to rebook my tickets it said it could not be done since my tickets will expire before my planned trip. So I called Southwest just to find out what is going on. When you buy a ticket it has a one year expiration date. You can change it anytime you want so long as you use it within one year. The agent told me to just cancel my tickets and in 24 hours they will change the expiration date to Sept 7, 2022 (due to the covid 19) but that today is the last day you can do that (unless it is extended). So if you want to redo any plans I suggest that today would be a very good day to do it and then wait until tomorrow to rebook. I am not sure but I think that if you just rebook today your expiration date will not change and with this creeping crud going around I would rather have two years to rebook. Now if they don't raise rates for the trip to Vegas for the Superbowl show before tomorrow I am good. Unfortunately they will not have dates available for the convention until sometime next year.
