years. Well, not every day of my life and every stone I pass over, but . . . it was totally cool to find them "in the flesh," as it were, in a tray of Hot Tokens. Both the vendor and I were burning our fingers trying to move those tokens around to get to the chips! The San Diego Swap Meet goes on every week, Fridays through Sundays, and yet - I still find treasures there 'most every time I show up. A long 140 mile trip to San Diego but . . . worth it. Had I arrived an hour or two earlier - I might have found more, as some vendors start packing up around noon - some offer "Everything Free" if you happen to be at the right tables at the exact right time - mostly old clothing (full of Coronaviruses???) but one never knows what may be dumped under the "rags."
One of the vendors brought along some Macaws to sell - don't know if he sold any but he was trying to get them back into his SUV and the birds were having too much fun Squawking at the visitors to stay put for long. My guess is, they shredded his upholstery on the way home! I tried to teach one to say "Rich is Great! Buy from Burgel!" If my theory holds, they will teach all the other parrots and macaws to say that, pretty soon all the birds across the USA will be squawking praises of you.
