The $4 Sahara is now on the poker tables, being used as a drop chip.

The $2 Palms is a mystery as to it's intended use...i am unaware of any poker room opening plans. The main feature of the Palms recent expansion was a new asian-inspired baccarat pit, but i dont know what a $2 chip would be used for. Most mini bac and pai gow games are now versions where a vig is not taken, but multiple "side bets" options are offered. Maybe a $2 side bet was going to be it's purpose? Anybody know?

Unfortunately, i dont think the palms will ever open again. My guess is the UFC / Dana White will buy it from the fertittas and the pearl theater will become the main hub for the UFC, LFA, Invicta, etc.
