I spent the day with Rich Burgel on a round trip from Vegas to Pioche, NV, via Panaca, Alamo, and Caliente. Rich was a pretty good tour guide and I suggested that he offer guided tours around Nevada as a tour guide.

In Caliente we stopped at a little shop where I spotted this framed pair of Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department commemorative shoulder patches, celebrating their 25th and 30th Anniversaries. The shop owner and I agreed on a price, including the frame, and I am now the new owner.
