Here is a couple recent links on the Virgin Train from Apple Valley to Las Vegas.
Apple Valley station location will be in an area just North of Victorville. Just North of Bell Mountain would be in the area of the Dale Evans Parkway exit of I-15

The Las Vegas station will be on the South East side of Las Vegas Strip, South of the airport. I can't find the article pinpointing this location.

I will be able to see the construction of the line through Barstow and suffer the pain of seeing the lucky travelers whisk by my house all day when the project is completed.
