In this instance and the point I am making is what is wrong with a buyer instructing the seller how the chip should be prepared for shipping in order to help "avoid" what happened. It is only a precaution on the buyer's part and of course law and even insurance doesn't help matters if that chip Rich bought was one-of-a-kind. No law or insurance can replace a one-of-kind chip. The whole point is to try and avoid a loss and any buyer can try. .. just as the buyer of my billiards book did when he explained what can happen if the right precautions are not taken in packaging... and that is my only point.
