My take on things:

If you want something posted to the guide - take it out of the holder, try your best to provide a decent picture, and provide the necessary information; i.e. What Color is it? Purple, Dark Blue, Violet? If I have to guess, I may get it wrong. It your are too lazy to fill out a simple form, your item may or may not get processed, or may get processed more then once. Yes, it may take a while before it gets posted, but in most case it WILL get posted, or you will get a reply indicating why it has NOT been posted.

If you think someone is deserving of an award, fill out the form and submit it in the proper channels. If you think that the current procedures should be changed, address it to the proper people through the proper channels. NOT everyone either reads this board on a daily basis, or acts on what is posted here.

If you do not like the way things are working, then volunteer your time and talents. NO one that I know of gets paid for the work that they do to make this an ongoing concern. It is up to volunteers to make things go.

And when it comes time to vote on what ever proposals or awards or what ever, where you input is requested - do so!

And, yes, I am as guilty as the next person on some or all of these items in the past and I am trying my best to be a better person. That I often fail is a given. But bi***ing about it is not the best way to effect change.

I will go sit in the corner now for a long time out.....
