On a trip back from the L.V. bottle show one year there was a super windy storm north of Coaldale and the highway patrol had the road closed going north as there already had trucks blown over .When Bev and I and another couple that had did the show with us stopped at Coaldale there were only a few people there .The cafe was open so we had lunch and waited for the road to open .As more people stopped the place was getting packed the cafe ran out of food and beer .I told Bev we had better go back to Tonopah and get a room . Good choice as Tonopah soon filled up .They didn't open the highway until the next day . Coaldale Junction had the best day they ever had . Bev has three different ashtrays from there .
