I was going through the CCA website and I came across this list of Hall of Fame members of our club very deserving names are on this list great volunteers and club members.... I was amazed to see David Spraggs name is not on this list, I think this person in our hobby is well deserving to be on this list and be inducted into the Hall of Fame of our club and here’s why....

1. David has been a volunteer and has donated not only time money and merchandise to our club and convention year after year

2. David and his partners put out the chip rack every year updating our club chip values very painstaking research and believe me I don’t think there’s any profit in it

3. David and his partners put on Casinorama show at Arizona Charlie’s every year which is a much needed asset for our club...David provides a free table for the club membership drive the show provides a lot of publicity for the club

4. David and his partners purchased Chipco and the Burt Co. In the state of Maine he has shared the chip records from the manufacturing to just about anybody who has asked again a lot of research and important information provided to our club

5. David runs the Chipboard.com which we all enjoy and is a big asset to our hobby this is provided free tools some members and dealers place advertisement a lot of work Especially when this website goes down or has a glitch we all have withdrawals

6. Marlowe Chips ... David has thousands of chips for sale on his website and provides very well needed information to all chip collectors

7. David has served as an officer of the CCA ... chip club, many hours volunteering and keeping us on a straight course ...David lives in England and that makes it much more harder and more expensive for him to volunteer but he does this year in and year out!

I have not discussed this matter with David or anybody in the club this is just my opinion and observation over the years I think it’s time we elect David to the Hall of Fame but it’s not up to the members to vote which is very strange it’s up to the Hall of Fame members and I hope everybody puts their personal feelings aside and look at the hard work and accomplishments and the dedication to our hobby and let’s make the right choice and vote him in the Hall of Fame ...And that’s my rant thanks for reading my post and everyone’s entitled to their own opinion I have no horse in this race I’m just sitting in the stands watching .....
