Dear all.
As I am new to collecting I am seeing chips from casinos I want and then discovering there are Borland imitation
Some sellers identify them clearly while others kind of tell you if you look harder and some not at all. I saw a chip I wanted today only to then discover all is not as it seems and it was in amongst lots of excellent casino played chips. Don’t get me wrong once you dig into the eBay listing it was kind of there ( if you knew how to do a chip search) but it was not clear on eBay as it is the chip website under casino search where it shows it was not played or used on the casino
Do we have a policy on identifying them for us new guys as I don’t want to buy them thinking I have them for a casino only to find later that they should be a place holder at best ? I know they have some value and use but not if they are not identified up front and clearly in the title in my opinion?
I am asking a question as this is something I am seeing as I get deeper into collecting
Thank you
James
