Great pix, Phil, thanks for posting. I always felt that perhaps the Hideaway in Wendover may have been cheating on their lone 21 table. I went there maybe four times, once with the O’Neals, and every time I went there, the scenario was the same: when I got there, nobody was playing, and the dealer got a blackjack or made 21 on the first three hands. Jerry O’Neal told me it was like that every time he visited also. The 21 table was in a separate room away from the bar with no cameras and not much lighting. Sometimes, there wasn’t even a floorman. Regardless, the place was a must see, and I always went there even though I knew I would get plucked. I remember it being so dark in there that when you went in, you had to feel your way along the bar to get to the 21 table, LOL.
