Today's "Chip of the Day" comes from the "Main Entrance Casino" which was located on the east side of Highway 50 at the Stateline and on the south shore of the Lake. First opened in 1938, closed in 1945 when it became the "ITAHAS LODGE" (Sahati spelled backwards). By the mid 1950s Bill Harrah had bought up all the property on the east side of Hwy 50 at the Stateline. "Harrah's Hotel & Casino" sits there now. Today's chip was issued in 1939 and the only chip issued by the "Main Entrance" that I'm aware of. Enjoy!
