"Irvin J. McQuade operated the Glass Crutch, along Kahle Drive next to Paul F. Oelsner's property, from 1962 to 1969. The club featured such games as poker, pan, blackjack and chuck-a-luck, in addition to slot machines. The building reportedly housed clubs including the Mother Lode, the Snow Bunny, and Cooter Jones in the 1970s. It is now closed and used for storage.
