Today's "Chips of the Day" come from the "TAHOE COLONIAL CLUB" & "TWIN STATES CLUB" which were located on the east side of Highway 50 at the Stateline, on the south shore of Lake Tahoe and where "Harrah's" sits today. The "Twin States Club" operated in this location for a very short time in 1947, only 45 days. Later in 1954 the "Tahoe Colonial Club" opened in this same location, but closed in 1955 when it became part of the Harrah's expansion at the Stateline. Today's chips are considered their 1st issues from 1954 for the "Tahoe Colonial Club" and 1947 for the "Twin States Club". Enjoy!
