Liechtenstein, officially the Principality of Liechtenstein is a microstate in Central Europe. Liechtenstein shares borders with Switzerland to the west and south and Austria to the east and north. The country’s area is only 160 square kilometers with an estimated population of 37,000 citizens. Liechtenstein’s capital is Vaduz while its largest city is Triesenberg with a population of approximately three thousand people. Liechtenstein constantly ranks amongst the highest in terms of GDP per capita The country became one of the wealthiest in the world in the 1970s due to the low corporate tax which drew many companies to Liechtenstein. Gambling is legal but strictly regulated in the Principality of Liechtenstein. Since 2009, the government was willing to issue one casino licence but it only happened in 2017, with the opening of Admiral Casino.since 1846, that there were no casinos in the country.
