I guess I should chime in here, since I may be part of the cause of Bob's departure.

I have gotten a great deal out of the BB, both from chipping, and non-chipping subjects. I have participated in both, sometimes expressing a dissenting opinion.

I have also enjoyed Bob Whiteman's contributions, even when his opinions were contrary to mine. What he had to say was of value, especially his humor.

This past couple weeks have been troubling to me, and I believe to others. This board has been a source of entertainment, and also a chance to toss around a few of the many emotions that have been bouncing around inside me.

I would like to think that others also have found the discussions a positive experience. But beyond that, I also hope that Bob will reconsider his choice, and return to making his contributions. If not, I will sincerely miss them.
