Yesterday I finished off another Gambling Related Display in my Museum.

Here is the "Back Story" and some pics of the completed Project. Back in 2016 I put up a Display at the CCA Convention of my "Unique Collection of Vintage Dice Advertising Paperweights". I was lucky enough to win First Place in the People's Choice Awards for this Display. When I got back home I left the Paperweight in the boxes that I had taken them to the Convention in. A year or two later I took a few of them up to the Museum and placed them "Here and There" - the rest stayed stacked up downstairs in my office.

I have finally given the Paperweights at proper place to reside. They are now in a place of Honor in my 30 Drawer Oak Printers Cabinet. I removed some of the Poker Chip Displays from 7 Drawers in the Printer's Cabinet as their permanent Home. After taking out the Poker Chip Displays (these chips will now be housed I n my Library Catalog Cabinet) I placed 20 Paperweights in each drawer and made custom framing for them out of black 3/8 " poster board. The poster board keeps the paperweights from shifting around when opening and closing the drawers and makes a nice outline for them. There are about 140 of these Paperweights in the Collection. I think the Display came out great - better than just collecting dust in an old box !!
