#1- Deploy a National postal bus service to take on passengers between distrbution/staging locations where drop/pick can easily increase up to 3X per day in heavy traffic regions.
(I been on these in the Swiss-Italian Alps. Inexpensive and you get to see towns and routs not often seen with any organized travel itinerary). Few restrictions with optional transfers. You can even get off at any stop and continue on with a second or third run.
