For many years I have been trying to find out who the entertainers were from week to week at the Thunderbird from 1948-1976. I have almost completed this project but need some help if anyone has the information I need. I always get the question Why do you need this info . Answer - I have over 100 different Thunderbird postcards and about 350 different photographs that I am trying to put a date to them. Most postcards and photographs were of the exterior of the Thunderbird and some times included the marquee showing entertainers from the main stage to lounge acts. This helps me date photos and postcards and also helps me date others as well. I have exhausted all information from Las Vegas libraries, including UNLV library, and was hoping someone on this board would have a copy of an old " Show Sheet ", Fabulous Las Vegas Magazine, Las Vegas Newspaper, brochure, or other source. Any help would be appreciated.
Here are the dates I need info: These dates are all Saturdays. Fabulous Las Vegas Magazines were dated on Saturdays. Most of the time new entertainment started on Thursday or Friday for a week at a time or more.
