Still illegal to get even though they are making a comeback big. They are all over the place again. Years ago a disease hit them and wiped them out. But since then they slowly came back and now the population is skyrocketing. Maybe one day they’ll open it up to a minimum to sports fisherman and not commercial to gather a few.
