When you say you got an infected email from William, I hope you are not referring to me. I do not have anyone here in any address book. Also, I have religiously been updating virus definitions and have been running weekly, every Friday at Midnight, scans. I have a clean machine. At least that is what Norton tells me. Also, I have not received any mail or notices from anyone that there could be a problem. If that did happen, I don't know what to say. That is REALLY SCARY. I hope you are referring to another William. Please clerify. Thank You.

I have received a couple of solicitations from people that have originated from posts here on The ChipBoard. I think though those were from small time people who simply went through posts and clicked the email links and sent their solicitations. I don't think it was large scale harvesting like what happens on newsgroups like alt.vacation.las-vegas . I do know that there are robots out there that search for email addresses and have heard that some are even programmed to search out words like delete and nospam and delete them automatically from an email address. I do not know though if that is accurate information.
