Al was a well respected coin dealer in the US, Puerto Rico and Havana.

Al and I were the first to introduce the President José Miguel Gomez pearl.chips which we both had no idea what the JMG monogram was until Howdy Herz told me. I then sold a set to Dale Seymour and Stan Wilker.

One year ('96) Al had a corner table at our convention where he wasn't using one half, and offered it to me at no charge. I not only paid for his corner table, but gave him 20% of what I sold. He was a very kind person always willing to share information.
