Been a tourney poker player for over 40 years, but I suspect wsop and the Rio are now on life support and may die.

Tournament poker is crowded and filthy - dealers rotate table-to-table and everyone is elbow-to-elbow handling the same cards n chips. Many events had 1000s of entrants so billions of DNA n germs abound - -UGH!

Sanitizer n gloves can be used - but how do you socially distance at a tournament table?

Only salvation may be on-line but who trusts that?
