This is the first show I had ever been to and the first time I met Gene. I hadn’t yet focused on illegals so he were just acquaintances at the time instead of collaborators.

Gene was running the program at the Four Queens at the time and brought in a group of women who inspired the movie “A League of Their Own”. He had chips made for the show and the ladies signed them upon request.
