That sounded like a good idea, and we have a 1953 Las Vegas City Directory.

Unfortunately, Boulder Highway isn't listed in the directory. I thought maybe it had a different "official" name, so I googled and found that State Road 582 is sometimes known as the Boulder Strip...so I tried that, and couldn't find SR 582 either.

Then I googled, to find a map of the Boulder Highway. The map shows that it's also SR 582. I followed the road from Sam's Town, at 5111 Boulder Highway, going toward downtown....4 Mile Bar is at 3650 Boulder Hwy....Walgreens is at 3400 Boulder Hwy...All of a sudden Boulder Highway becomes Fremont Street...There's a tire store near Walgreens, and the address is 3352 Fremont Street! And it does show that Fremont Street is also SR 582.

If you start at Sam's Town and go away from Downtown Las Vegas, it turns into North Boulder Highway, and lands you in Henderson.
