I know a little bit about a lot of stuff....

Playing cards are NOT something that I know about

So...when I'm scanning playing cards, I'm assuming that if I have a factory-sealed deck (shrink wrapped), I shouldn't open it to scan it. Right? (Smith's North Shore Club)

What about if it's a casino-sealed deck? (Caesars Palace...used, then sealed with an initialed label)

Anything else I should look out for?
