It was my daughter's wedding. We pointed this out to the managers and they said, "Huh."
Well, the place is certainly different than when we got married there in 1977. Back then they had no limo business, now they have a fleet. Back then they had a koi pond near one of the alters, now they have a wooden bridge for Kodak moments.
Although we had our picture taken at the Lady Luck, we stayed at the Silverbird. We kept a menu as a souvenir, sure wish we had kept some paper coin cups. I used to have Room Keys from there, but when we returned home we would use the key ring and the plastic paddle for our car keys, until the paddle broke and then we would throw them out.
Like I said, if I knew then, what I know now......
