Protecting us in the control room because without us we’ll have no one to do it. Catalina is its own power grid. Unlike the mainland that’s is basically connected to several areas of generation and transmission and distribution.
We are the most venerable.
At the moment we are told not to travel or attend even our own meetings, all on skype. All of our office people are working from home.
So we’ll see if Las Vegas can become cleared.
I’m lucky to have such a great job and place to live but it comes at a cost I guess, kinda like a government job, lots of rules and regulations.
I’m not expecting at this moment things will change to where I can go.
But I haven’t givin up hope in doing so and will hold my SouthPoint reservation until the 48 hrs. Or when I know the outlook for sure.
Others from out of state and country might not even be able to fly in either. But 3 months out and warmer weather and a medical cure and low to no cases could prevail !!!
I sure hope so because a lot of us wait all year to attend this fun event.
I do, I make a hobby, mini vacation out of it.
