Everyone is hurting right now, Rich, and many more people are out there will be affected by this horrid event. I don't know why you say that 40% or whatever percent of his business is lost FOREVER...that is a pretty pessimistic view. He didn't come to this great country and succeed by giving up when things got tough or near impossible for him. He risked everything to make his dream a reality. The loss of his current customers does not mean he will not find demand in another area, or that new people will not start to patronize his establishment.
My suggestion for all of us is to do our best to try and find the best we can in all these stories yet to be told. How about all of us trying to find ways to help our neighbors and ourselves rise out of the pit we were pushed in to. I'm willing to bet that this gentlemen you speak of will not let this overcome him.
