This portion of this post below is pretty clear regarding your concern of the offering up to its termination and not further down the road. I don't think I know who the seller is, though I do know who Richard is; I sold him chips. Saratoga Springs and its environs is not a huge city... though, I do know, as I have mentioned in a previous thread about Saratoga chips and the collectors and historians in the area, that corrections would have been brought to the attention of someone offering something in question being Saratoga Springs. Again, I am only giving my opinion based on what I have read here regarding the seller and the highly respected collectors and historians of Saratoga Springs. Regarding documentation in general, that's not too easy of a thing to come by when dealing with a generic or NOID item. Again, I have not mentioned nor am I concerned about anything other than the facts I read here regarding the inventory history up to present day nor what anyone would think of any chip being offered in years to come... A collector who correctly maintains his or her collection tends to that and, yes, any description should include as much information as possible about the item being offered.
I do not collect Saratoga, though I have sold Saratoga and ivory chips from the area without ID and sold them as being of unknown origin...
